Chipley merchants are continuing their drive to attract more shoppers to the community. 

Most recently downtown property owner Dutch Swart launched the directory sign shown at the right.  Area businesses have the opportunity to advertise on the sign that is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Hwy 77 and Hwy 90. 

As more businesses are moving into the downtown area, the Chipley Merchants Association is looking at a number of ways to convince shoppers from Washington County, as well as elsewhere,  to make Chipley one of their primary shopping areas.

The DowntownChipley.com website is growing in popularity with more hits recorded each month.

Businesses are also displaying Value Cards (shown here) placard in store windows.  Shoppers are given a card that entitles them to special discounts or gifts from participating businesses.
