Chipley starts Downtown Merchants Association

Chipley's Downtown Merchants Association is starting to make plans to draw in more shoppers in the upcoming months.  Meeting at 'The Den' on Railroad Avenue March 20,  area business people announced plans to begin merchandising the downtown area not only in Chipley, but the surrounding areas as well.

The association has been offered an alliance with The Goulding Agency to advertise the downtown area not only in the local area, but throughout Northwest Florida as well.

Along with planning an advertising campaign, the local merchants are scheduling a series of events to draw locals and visitors to the downtown area.
